Stephanie M. Kay manages the firm's healthcare practice. Her work focuses on representing skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and reducing their receivables through private collection actions, guardianships, estate proceedings and the use of administrative and judicial remedies to secure Medicaid, Medicare and insurance coverage. Ms. Kay also handles many other types of general commercial litigation matters including vendor disputes as well as collection matters for a major institutional pharmacy provider.
Ms. Kay is an active member of the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey Bar Association. She has also been a featured speaker at the Annual Elder Law & Disability Law Symposium and if often asked by healthcare clients and professional organizations to discuss private collection methods and strategies to reduce outstanding private and Medicaid receivables.
