Allyn Z. Lite and Michael E. Patunas were part of a patent infringement litigation team that defeated motions for preliminary injunctions with regard to three pharmaceutical products, including one of the world's best-selling medications, paving the way for the entry of generic versions into the market. In one of those cases, the proceedings began with Mr. Lite arguing on a Saturday morning, on just an hour's notice, against an emergency motion for a temporary restraining order.
