Michael Scales focuses his practice on class actions and complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph L. Yannotti, P.J.A.D., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. As a law clerk, he wrote memoranda on cases before the court and reviewed and edited judicial opinions.
In law school, Michael served as Managing Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review, as a teaching associate for the legal analysis, writing and research skills course, and as a research assistant to one of his professors. Michael also interned for the Honorable Madeline Cox Arleo in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the New York State Office of the Attorney General: Criminal Justice Division.
