Nicholas R. McClelland draws on his research and in- and out-of-court experience to provide strategic guidance to clients throughout the litigation process. Nick regularly handles discovery in complex cases, drafts, reviews and edits a variety of legal documents and reports, and conducts depositions of plaintiffs, co-defendants and non-party witnesses. He also has conducted mediations that resulted in agreeable resolutions with unrepresented parties.
Nick’s experience includes personal injury, construction defect, premises liability and automobile negligence disputes. In addition, he has been involved in a variety of landlord/tenant, foreclosure and creditor action matters.
After earning his law degree, Nick completed a judicial clerkship under the Honorable Judge Alan G. Lesnewich, J.S.C., of the Law Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. Prior to joining the firm, Nick worked as a litigation associate at a regional law firm based in Monmouth County.
During law school, he served as a judicial extern under the Honorable Judge Donald A. Kessler, J.S.C., of the Chancery Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey. He also served as managing editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review, and president and treasurer of the Seton Hall Real Estate Law Society.

While in law school, Nick provided services at Seton Hall Law’s Equal Justice Clinic in its Center for Social Justice, providing free legal aid to indigent clients.
